Sons of Norway Membership:
Joining Sons of Norway is easy and is open to those who are at least sixteen (16) years
of age and have an interest in the objectives and purposes of a fraternal benefit society.
In Canada, we are primarily a social group with interests in promoting and preserving
the heritage and culture of Norway and to support charitable and social projects which
benefit our members, lodges and communities.
You can use the downloadable form provided here, fill in all your information and mail
the form along with a cheque for the membership fee to our Home Office in
Minneapolis. You can also go online to Sons of Norway at www.sofn.com and selection
the option “Join or Renew”. On the Member Sign Up page, select “Canada” and enter
your “postal code” and it should bring up the lodge closest to your postal code.
Please note: When first joining or renewing memberships, if you do it online using a
credit card, their bank processes payment in US Dollars. If you wish to pay by
Canadian Dollars, you will have to submit payment in a physical bank cheque in the
amount of an Individual membership of $87 or Family membership (all members who
reside at the same address) of $146 and it will be accepted in Canadian Dollars.
